Special DCAT


1 Eligibility

An applicant must be any of the following:

  • Grade 12 students who are expected to graduate at the end of Academic Year 2023-2024
  • Grade 12 student who graduated from a school (local or abroad) before AY 2023-2024 and who has not taken any college course (required to upload the Declaration as a New Student Form on his/her online application
  • Passer of the Philippine Educational Placement Test (PEPT), Alternative Learning System (ALS) or Non-Formal Education Accreditation and Equivalency (NFEA&E) Program following DepEd regulations and therefore certified eligible for admission to college/tertiary level
  • Current Grade 12 students or Grade 12 Graduates who Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) result holder, AP result holder, IB Diploma/IB Certificate holder, or A Level certificate holder who has met the DLSU criteria. All results and certificates will be subject to evaluation
2 Application Period
Special DCAT Application period for Academic Year 2024-2025 is from 25 April 2024 to 18 May 2024.
3 Registration
You will need to create an account to access the Online Admission Facility (OAF).
You may log in and log out of your account anytime during the application period to complete all the information required. Please do not forget your username and password as you will need these to use your account again when you continue with your application.
Please ensure that you are using an active and working email address (preferably a personal email address and not an email address issued by your high school, which may be deactivated after you graduate).
4 Application Requirements
Supply all information required. Allot 30-45 minutes for the completion of the application form. Be ready to scan and upload the following:

Personal Documents

  • Copy of Grade 11 or 12 school ID
  • Recent 2x2 or Passport-size Photo (in white background, with neutral facial expression, must not be wearing eyeglasses or color contact lenses, and with ears exposed if religious customs do not prohibit)
  • Proof of Citizenship (For Filipino citizens: PSA issued birth certificate, valid Philippine passport, or Certificate of Retention or Reacquisition of Filipino Citizenship)

Academic and Student Records

  1. Grade 12 students who are expected to graduate at the end of Academic Year 2023-2024
    1. Secondary Scholastic Record (in DLSU Format, signed by SCHOOL REGISTRAR or PRINCIPAL). Download the form here
    2. Grade 11 Report Card or Transcript of Records/Form 137
      NOTE: High School applicants with 1st and 2nd Semester Report Cards must ensure that both Report Cards are signed by the designated signatories
    3. Certificate of Non-Issuance of Numerical Grades IF you are an applicant from a school with non-numerical (Pass/Fail) grades
    4. Transcript of Records IF you are an applicant from Non-Philippine Department of Education (DepEd) recognized schools
  2. Grade 12 student who graduated from a school (local or abroad) prior to Academic Year 2023-2024 and who has not taken any college course
    1. Declaration as a New Student Form. Download the form here.
    2. Secondary Scholastic Record (in DLSU Format, signed by SCHOOL REGISTRAR or PRINCIPAL). Download the form here
    3. Grade 12 Report Card IF you are an applicant from a Philippine Department of Education (DepEd) recognized school
      NOTE: High School Graduates with 1st and 2nd Semester Report Cards must ensure that both Report Cards are signed by the designated signatories
    4. Transcript of Records IF you are an applicant from Non-Philippine Department of Education (DepEd) recognized schools
  3. Passers of PEPT, ALS or NFE A&E Programs (certified eligible for admission to college/tertiary level by the Philippine Department of Education)
    1. Secondary Scholastic Record (in DLSU Format, signed by SCHOOL REGISTRAR or PRINCIPAL). Download the form here
    2. Any of the following that applies to the applicant
      • Certificate of Rating for Passer of the Philippine Educational Placement Test (PEPT)
      • Alternative Learning System (ALS) Certificate of Completion
      • Non-Formal Education Accreditation and Equivalency (NFE A&E) Program Results
      • ALS Learner's Permanent Record (AF-5)
  4. For other applicants who opt to use other documents as a basis for admission to the university

5 DCAT Test Dates and Venues

Special DCAT Venue (for all applicants)

  • DLSU Manila Campus - May 26, 2024 (Sunday)

All applicants will submit their applications online. There will be no manual filing of applications for incoming freshmen.

6 Admission Results
Release of admission results will be on the 1st week of June 2024.
